A Law Firm for Foreign Residents in Korea
We don't take every case.
We listen to your situation first, then tell you honestly where you stand — the strengths and the weaknesses — so you can make an informed decision about what to do next.
30-minute assessment — ₩100,000, VAT included. The same fee in Korean or English, conducted by the attorney who would handle your case. No obligation to proceed.
SOL & LUNA · Law Firm Myeong · Pyeongtaek

Feeling lost here is not a weakness.
You are dealing with a legal system you didn't grow up with, in a language that isn't yours. Being anxious about that is rational — what makes it worse is not knowing where you actually stand.
That is what the first consultation is for. You describe what happened, in English, to the attorney himself. He explains what Korean law says about your situation and what outcomes are realistic. If you're deciding whether to sue, that includes telling you when the honest answer is “don't.” If you're facing a charge or a claim you didn't choose, it means a clear-eyed view of the best achievable outcome — not false comfort, and not needless alarm.
Understanding your position comes first.
Deciding whether to hire us comes after — or not at all.
The consultation is paid for a reason: our advice doesn't depend on signing you as a client. You pay for the assessment — the assessment is the product.

Who We Are
A Small Firm, Deliberately
SOL & LUNA (Law Firm Myeong) is a Korean law firm in Pyeongtaek serving foreign residents across Gyeonggi-do and beyond.
We deliberately limit the number of cases we take on at one time. The attorney you meet at your first consultation is the same attorney who drafts your documents, appears at your hearings, and stands with you in court. Nothing is lost in handoffs — and nothing is lost in translation, because your attorney is the one speaking with you.

Four Steps, One Attorney
Tell us what happened.
Send a brief description through the contact form or by phone. Plain English is fine; you don’t need to use legal terms.
Book a 30-minute assessment.
₩100,000 (approx. US$70), VAT included, by appointment — the same fee whichever language you speak. The fee is fixed; it does not change based on your case type.
Get an honest answer.
The attorney explains the realistic outcomes. If you’re weighing whether to sue and we can’t see a meaningful result, we say so at this stage. If the case is already coming at you — a criminal investigation, a lawsuit — we map out the best achievable outcome and what it takes.
Same attorney, start to finish.
If you proceed, the attorney you met handles your matter through to court. Fees for representation are quoted in writing before you commit, and do not grow mid-case.

Describe your situation in your own words — plain English is fine, and you don't need to organize it like a lawyer would. We respond during business hours (weekdays) to schedule an assessment.
Sending this form does not create an attorney–client relationship and does not commit you to anything.
